Just read the raws and i am shocked at the ending. Like what is the point of this side story exactly? Idk why the fuck I read it at all I feel so stupid

I was so excited for this side story and even liked it more than some points in the main story... only for it to end on the WORSE CHAPTER EVER ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ what was the point of the 30+ chapters of redemption and sweet moments only to end it with them not ending up together. I don't care what anyone says this entire side story was a massive waste of time and energy for readers.
