ah sorry for the extremely late reply i didn't notice the notification. basically i was theorizing that the black death probably had something do with the boys familys deaths and i was right. plus my theory is that the scary looking drawings he makes of the entities he sees in the dark might dead people. MOST IMPORTANTLY in here

when tera asks the boy about one of the entities he doesn't answer, and right after the entity tera is shown in the same angle. that entity seemed like a figure with a mask on similar to the black death members. so the boy might have seen one of the people responsible for his familys deaths that day but can't remember because it was too traumatic.
i just read the whole thing again and oh boy now that i paid attention to the plot i can say that the incoming angst is gonna be so good. i wish the chapters weren't so messy here which makes it difficult for people to get into the story. such a well made story fr
