I don’t think uke thought that would be an acceptable option tho. To him, his alpha wanted to have children with him and he couldn’t provide that anymore. It’s a huge deal breaker to a lot of people. Some people want a child because it’s a physical piece of both the parents souls and dna so they won’t be okay with “compromising” with an adoptive child. Personally, I think adoption is wondering and although I’m child free, id adopt if I ever changed my mind but not everyone is so willing to do that especially in East Asian countries. Adopted children get bullied a lot too and looked down upon when they get to dating and marriage age. Something that’s an easy (ish) choice to make in western countries isn’t always the same in eastern more traditional countries unfortunately.
Nah, it's because Japan doesn't promote adoptions as an alternative. So its not like they can't adopt, it's just the Japanese culture that influences the story's flow.

Some people take 500+ injections to be able to have their own biological children. So it's more like they want bio children. Adoption is the last option people turn to when they are sure they are absolutely unable to have children.
