I think it is just disrespectful of her to try things he doesn't want right away. I also understand that in the heat of the moment she broke up with him but did they not have a conversation after the break up? Did they left of things just like that? If so then it is all the more disrespectful of her to expect things to get how they used to be immediately
Idc if anyone disagrees with this. I get what happened was really messed up. He tried to keep that hidden until after engagement and in the heat of the moment she decided to break up. But that’s the thing. She can't just expect him to immediately get back together again, and it was extremely naive to think it would work out that way.
Ofc, it’s probably just out of guilt that he doesn’t want to get back together yet. Or maybe he’s trying to climb his way up before getting back together. Idk. But yeah, point still stands that it’s weird she tried to act like nothing happened when he came back.
