So I might be sick

I thought maybe Seth deserved it yaknow. Afterall, however many women was sa-ed cuz his failure to be proper god, now he's paying for his sin by experiencing the same things.

It also kinda fit. Osiris love him cuz he's beautiful. And in time of unrest cuz by... well, himself, he's a vulnerable beaut.

I still love him tho. This atonement arc is marvelous. I love him suffering. He was a victim once, made others unsespecting victims, now he fell victims to his own wrongdoing.

I have high hope Seth come out of this properly learning his lesson. Which means Osiris that shit also paying for his sin.

It's ok because many of us here think the same: that maybe the author is having Seth being SAed like this because Seth can only understand his victims if he goes through something similar.

I wouldn't use the word "deserve" though, because that'd mean him getting a punishment that'd be a proportional suffering to that which those women got, by human standards, with his life getting just as ruined as theirs was, and that's simply IMPOSSIBLE here: he is a demigod with good chances to go back to being a god, a being that doesn't die and lives forever... so how could his life get just as ruined as the short lives of those women? Moreover, if he recovers his eternal life, he'll have the rest of eternity to get over and forget all that's happened to him, whereas those women's entire lives weren't nearly long enough to move on, even for those who didn't die right after they'd been SAed.

You're totally right. In fact, even if they're all humans, suffering ain't something countable that can be totally equalize.(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Why would r4pe ever be a way to atone for his sins? That’s worse than being put to death. What about all of the other gods and their misdeeds???? If anyone should deserve punishment (NOT SA) it should be Isis and her bstard husband Osiris… acting like a child and plotting revenge instead of seeing that Seth is being R4PED and not consenting to it. You do realize this is all Osiris’ fault but Seth has been getting the short end of the stick this whole time it destroys him so much that he ends up becoming an abusive god himself? BECAUSE he’s being abused??!!!!!!!! Really makes my stomach churn reading that Seth deserved any of this when in the timeline he was a normal and kind god celebrating his wife and he pregnancy up until Osiris became a manipulative r4pist towards him. Also cursing his first born son and him?!!
Reread this and please actually read it instead of deluding yourselves.

You're talking about Seth as a human, like us, while I'm trying to see this from a "celestial" perspective. Think about it: Jesus Christ certainly did NOT deserve to be crucified, right? But the reason he went through with the crucifiction was that he needed to save mankind. I think Seth's meeting with "karma" (from a "celestial/cosmic" point of view, is kinda the same but in the opposite direction: like, for example, if the devil one day decided to try to achieve redemption (imagine what the devil would have to go through, in order for that to happen??) To the "good" people of Egypt, Seth is like the devil (on a smaller, much more limited scale, sure... but you probably get the point, right?) Going about the comparison with Christ: the whole point about what happened to Christ is that he certainly didn't deserve it, yet still willingly went through with it, in order to save mankind. Seth's sacrifice, as an "evil GOD" may possibly need to be the other way around (in the sense that he needs to go through it in order to save himself, along with the souls of those specific number of humans that died because of him) but it can still be considered to be a sacrifice being suffered for a reason (which is, to save Seth himself, along with those souls)

And I DO think the other gods will get theirs too, btw (if they aren't, already)... That's what karma is all about, after all

Yooo I think you're deluded too. Isis was the bystander in the tragedy. Putting her on the same level as Osiris is fucked. Sure she did not do well. She could have stand with Seth on the spiral into hell. But she was down and out. Seth went mad and turned evil. They can't support each other. Bah. Now they're facing their punishments. Karma came slow yay.
Also, Seth was not the one with shortest end of the stick. The humans were. They were enslaved and abused cuz of Seth himself. They didn't get second chance, babe. Seth is still alive. He did perpetuated that cycle of hatred by passing on his anger the wrong way and wrong people. Poor guy. I still love him tho.
And I agreed with Jayjay, this guy above me, again. They're not humans. Can they even die? Even Osiris is not dead for real after Seth killed him. What kind of punishment they can suffer then?
