She even let herself be killed by Eris so she could go back? As Eris kills her, Eris even says "Helena, you saved even a lowly human like me." She never even disliked Eris and even forgave her for the bullying she put her through. Are you perhaps dumb

she was though, she knew it was wrong it but it benefited her. there is powerful people at play but it doesn’t mean she wasn’t privileged- she was playing a part with the men. i really liked her as a character so i wanted to acknowledge how it still makes sense people don’t like her regardless of helena explanating her own actions. imo even if she spoke up, jason or the prince wouldn’t harm her

regardless of class, she had them fawning over her. they literally could care less that she was a maid. anything she said couldve helped eris’ tbh because the guys were literally at her beck and call. im not saying she was manipulative so dont get ur knockers in a twist but i think its alright to point out her mistakes. being a victim doesnt exempt you from hurting others too. you can do both

I think what this person was getting at was that Helena acknowledged that the prince didn't treat Eris well but turned a blind eye to it (on the advice of her late mother about remaining ignorant in the palace). So by default, she wasn't innocent. Helena regretted ignoring what was really happening in front of her later and that is why Alec got this version of her in the latest chapter. She doesn't love him.
