Then as I said, it’s a filler chapter as an extra showing what could have been. Those shoes you mentioned are the shoes he threw off the bridge. Possibly to help us as readers to be able to get through this painful part of the story, the author created a filler extra chapter in order to help us move on too. If this was his new child, the rest of the cast would be involved and he wouldn’t be allowed to go out alone because everyone loves him so much. The other thing to note is that the chapter is literally called “side story” aka AU or something that doesn’t fit in the original storyline. He’s not pregnant again and thinking that he is will just hurt YOU. No one else will be hurt by the false hope of another child but YOU. And lastly, as I said before, what kind of horrid person would name their new alive baby after the name they chose for their unfortunately deceased child? If you had set the name “Eli” for a child you were having and they died, would you ever be able to see the name “Eli” without having pain in your heart? Or would you have another child to replace the first “Eli”? It’s so cruel to think he would ever do that when he’s so torn up about the fact that he doesn’t have his little kkong anymore. Please have a little mercy and respect for the characters of this book by striking the thought that a parent could ever name their new child after the deceased one from your mind. Be happy that there was a side story about him at all because not all authors are kind enough to show us what might have been had certain characters still been alive. This author was merciful on us. Be grateful for it.

Wow it wasn’t for all that one I am a parent and I know lots of people who lost children name their new babies after them it’s a way of keeping a piece of them alive people name babies after the loved one who died all the time nobody is disrespecting the characters I for one love them and the author we all have different opinions on this and You should take it as that an OPINION why dont you reread the story and compare in the story the fetus stop growing already when he found out in the hospital in the side story it says that the fetus was growing for 6 months already and smoothly as well theirs a huge difference and the shoes is definitely him remembering the last baby if not he would have bought them with a smile instead if you’re happily having a baby for the 1st time you will not make that face when shopping cause everything is adorable in your eyes and when he had the shoes in the story he was happy so why would he make that face like you said it is a side story so the author can always change the story line and come back to this one later or make a new one

Just... Have you ever read a comic with side stories before? No it is not an AU, 99% of the time it will be either about side characters getting a resolution or a time skip for the main couple or a direct follow up to the story. If it actually is an AU the author will tell us.

Also not to rain on you whole name argument but this baby is named Si Kkong, the previous one was KongKong.... It's different. Also that's not gonna be their final kids name, ist just a nickname during pregnancy...
