I don't think so. It manifested when he was a teenager and mostly bc of his desires for the mc.
DID can develop before and after that age, and sometimes realization for that can take several years. So its not always clarified whether someone who has DID started early on or late, mostly due to OSDD. It also depends on the type of trauma and how long it took to process it.
Symptoms can develop later but the trauma has to have happened at a very young age

Nope, DID is very specific, it has to be intense excruciating trauma before the age of 7 when all children actually have unintegrated personalities, if you have a healthy childhood they integrate properly into one, if you don’t, they stay unintegrated to help you cope
