I skipped abit but from what I get, he was the guardian spirit for minha's mother, she could see him as well and he turned into a human for her as well, they kinda had a thing like dowoon and minha. She eventually got killed in a car accident when he wasn't around I think and he doesn't know that she loved him or smth like that? And there was something about dowoon being a special type of heroic spirit. After her death, he decided to stay around minha to protect him. The reason why he's against dowoon and minha's rls is he doesn't want them to end up in a tragedy and let history repeat itself when he himself turned into a human for her the way dowoon did for minha and I think there was something about how spirits who turned human for their humans end up causing the humans suffering? But the difference is that fate did change and minha's talisman burning with dowoon subsequently appearing before minha as a human was fate changing and he(dowoon) told that to the pink haired guy and told him to stop projecting minha's mother onto him. I stopped a few chapters before the latest one so idk how the rest goes but what I'm talking about happens around chapter 51
