Yes, same! So many FL’s get so much unnecessary hate that it’s so hard to read comment sections on pretty much anything with a FL nowadays because there’s just so much misogyny (or internalized misogyny) directed at them or another female character! There are so many double standards that it hurts my heart. If a girl is quiet or conflict-adverse, she’s not a'strong female character', and everyone says that they're frustrated with her, but if a guy is quiet, he’s seen as cute, relatable, or comedic. How is this fair? ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

i will ride and die for this fl. like the story isn’t even that crazy for me to be so invested but the hate tht the fl is getting is making me wanna defend her. like what happened to having sympathy?? she’s my girl she can do no wrong.
