looks like this was originally a korean manhwa but this is the english translation of its japanese localization
cool was just confused cus the names were japanese too and i didn’t know if they make the names japanese when they translate kr to jp

I think it's up to the localization team that picks it up, pretty much like official english versions where some also give the characters english names
because some official japanese versions also keep the character's names in korean (sign and heal heal heal! are some examples)
