Ouch! I hear a heart breaking ...

It's a small, underdeveloped thing, quite pitiful. I mean the guy lives in his own delusion out of his own volition; things he doesn't want to see, he does not see.

So yes, it is a pity he'll have to have such a rude wake up call, but he'll have to wake up either way and there's no nice way going about it since he's been stubbornly clinging onto his delusions no matter what
