From re-reading, Wang Yi stated that points can be exchanged to items and skills, so I think the mind reading skills that male lead has is due to exchange of points.
From the dialogue exchange of black cat and ml, it's revealed that ML is still yet to complete his mission which is to collect divine souls (not stated for what that is)
Wang Yi is a system escapee turned human which the heavenly Dao is looking for. Both wang Yi and ml are defects so heavenly Dao/main system is looking for them, Black cat has been hiding them by manipulating storyline and purposely taking host in.
As for the white cat, he is a rebel system his human form is drawn in page 115, he is now a "white cat" cause systems can't take a form of humans anymore due to Wang Yi.
I don't think he is a enemy, cause despite being present in every world he didn't tell the main system about Wang Yi and ML but we don't know since white cat is still a mystery
I see... But what would be the connection of the white cat to the black cat because it keeps going after it?
As well is never fully stated how pink hair became human.
Yeah they didn't say yet how he became human and what is white cats deal.
But base on some hints in the dialogue, it seems like the white cat might know Wang Yi it's probably following Wang Yi
Pink hair was like the cat but became human and bc he was never originally human he lack understanding of emotions. Pink hair was the first person to help black hair but black hair ended falling in love with pink hair and keeps following him everywhere.
So here comes my theory
Black hair wish to read minds and with it he understood what they actually where planning so maybe he worked in getting the best status of villains to get another wish that making pink hair human so that he knew they will eventually get back together and this time it would be pink hair the one to make the wish. This is because maybe if he wished again it would put both in danger and this way it will become less suspicious and both finally would be able to live as regular humans.
For the white cat maybe was a partnership that black hair did before they "died" and made a deal that maybe had to do with black cat.
