80% of the comments every single chapter are "ewww stop calling him dad" like WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE? lol
I hate that now every time I see an update I get super excited to see more of the boys, but then immediately plummet into dread 'cause instead of actual discussions or people chillin' it's "AMFG WHY DOES HE STILL CALL HIM DAD WEEEEEEEEH" lol
Why are we still bringing up that Pil-gyun calls Nanmu "dad" when we've already established that they aren't blood related, and the time they spent together when Pil-gyun was a child was not that long at all.
He was an abused child with a shitty mother that allowed the abuse to go on. He met Nanmu-- the first adult in his life to show him kindness and consideration-- and just imprinted at the time. As he grew older his feelings turned to romantic and obsessive love. A part of Pil-gyun probably still sees Nanmu as an adult figure he can rely on, but I highly doubt it's at the father/son label now. He wants something more unbreakable than those kind of ties.
And tbh I'm p sure he only called Nanmu "dad" initially to get him to remember who Pil-gyun was and as a way to tie Nanmu to him till their feelings became mutual.
We can see as he becomes more confident in their relationship that he's slowly working down the "dad" usage.
Can ya'll please stop beating the already dead, pulverized horse and just be glad that there's one person in Pil-gyun's life that is willing to put him first and make him happy no matter what after the shit he went through as a child lol
