wouldnt telling them that everythibg he does has a butterfly effect make them believe that their is chance that their business may fail since he had intervened, and knowing how skeptical and smart the character he was interacting with he wouldnt fall for the carrot and stick approach. especially since he's in a wealthy business family, there would be no way that he wouldnt notice a carrot and stick approach happening

First of all the meeting they're having the information that their company would be successful is what will cause Butterfly effect because they can end up making a wrong choice with overconfidence when they usually wouldn't have. So they're already fucked atp and the only one who knows what future choices they're gonna make is mc any smart person should know of that so being skeptical would do them no good unless they are going to be enemies in future. It irked me when mc kept on trying to make them believe like in business you never show your desperation and mc seemed quite desperate for their alliance to the point of giving game information for free like no honey that info you just gave is mad expensive you should've made a contract right there and then for corporation and penalty on betrayal like mana oath or something. Also telling them about flaws of his power was foolish they could easily suspect mc of not being a prophet but just someone who received information about the game through quest. Also when at some point they realize mc is stronger than them and no matter what they do they just can't surpass him won't they realize or feel mc isn't giving them full information...like forget about being allies they would turn into enemies who would be waiting to backstab even if they think mc would know about the future then he would also know about their betrayal they could easily verify it if they hire or gain an ability of a mind reader/truth detector or something like that. Also who would not fall for a carrot and stick approach if the carrot looked delicious enough like even if he's wealthy his life is still in danger and that company is related to players aka his possible allies so that approach can definitely work. Also the way he gave them information was so... like how should I say this it gave an impression like "look at me I'm so scheming" to the point it felt hella narcissistic in a bad way.

i completely undertsand the first half of your counter about the butterfly effect, but Ma Gyeongrok's(the business guy's name) whole thing is that he IS skeptical of everyone they cant fully manipulate or make completely into an ally which was the point making his bodyguard go see the MC first to vet what he's working with before putting himself into the situation to further get down to the bottom of the investment deal. Buttttt since he's going up against the MC who already knows how he operates further information about the future, it was a losing battle to begin with. In the previous chapters , chapters 28 and 31, the MC specifically says that he wants to protray himself as naive so its easier to catch Ma Gyeongrok by surprise, so his desperation was a necessary play to make. As well as the fact that the MC needed the plans go through without any problems for his future plans as black scythe. When Ma Gyeongrok finds out the true identity of the MC the guy will prob be happy that he has such a powerful ally apart of his company, will he be skeptical and wary of the MC...YES but who wouldnt at this point. Will Ma Gyeongrok hire a mind reading or truth telling person, he couldnt possibly since the MC has the truth rune and the MC would be smart enough than to allow a mind reading rune get into someone elses hand so thered be no one for Ma Gyeongrok to hire. About the information the MC gave them, the information itself is very valuable to everyone but him since he knows so much already. To him itd be like sparing a few pennys. And its not like he gave them super amazing world breaking information about the next round, he gave them basic information that could aid in their survival and not about any of the side quests or hidden opportunities. The whole reason he invested in the company was to have the power of a big shareholder to make decisions within the company/guild, Chapter 21. Sometimes in business its better to be perceived as lower or easily malleable in order to gain more leverage an wiggle room to take over what you desire. But this is just my personal opinion based on my own personal experience and exposure to other stories like this one. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I would just like to say that MC is a regressor rather than a prophet. Even if he had 100 regressions, there can always be variables, especially in this one because he is trying to make allies, which he never did before. I agree with your opinion on some points, but that's just a biassed opinion, and I just read the information he gave; it was so little and obvious that they're definitely going to keep doubting MC in the future. All in all, I just don't like the fact that when you make allies through lies, you either don't lie or don't tell them at all, like, god forbid, if they find out the truth by chance. That type of go-through is what makes people turn their backs at the last moment. Well, yeah, in business, being the lower-level one can have advantages, but not when you expose yourself of your s-tier ability. About truth rune what if MG himself gained the ability? Things could flip in numerous ways so what I'm saying is that having a contract or mana oath can save them some trouble, trust issues and skepticism. This is my personal opinion and experience too after reading all those betrayed hero manga/manhwa ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Mc has no business skills in this last chapter like he was literally exploited lmao. He should've made them anxious and should've made a carrot and stick approach... All those talk just to make them believe you is kinda waste. If I were him I would've told them that my actions have already caused Butterfly effect even the meeting they're having can cause the future to deviate so if they don't listen to me I can't guarantee anything about future. He could've had them right under his palm without all those blabbering... Ah I guess this is something just to make the story longer?
