I thought the pacing seemed weird in the first few chapters. Like a ton of world building was smashed into a few scenes.

The one scene with the controled king (the archduke of this empire can controlled mind) happen before saving him.

The reason why will bill(the portal guy) gave him permission to go after the controlled king, its because this is their second "transaction" . In their transaction the first one is to let him go to his empire to get poison. So many happen here lol. He gave pocketwatch to will bill for this


The novel mess me a lot, it confused the heck out of me. Should have started the novel when I read that one spoiler from another person. I just want to know what happen in the recent update lol

They did. When reading the manhwa. I forgot that there were dungeon tower. It was mention a lot in the novel since it was the first reason why he needed to go back to his empire to get the potion for that boy ( forgot his name but that close boy)

The novel world building is good and the novel itself is better than the manhwa. It just that the manhwa has pretty illustrations, a che f kiss

Honestly idek, it's probably cus they fully intend for this to be 18/19+ but for that to happen, they had to go straight to when MC and Duke finally reunites again.

I've read some korean reviews in the manwha version though that the manwha may have been made as like, an 18+ version where you HAVE to read the novel first cus that's where all the plot and story is. Cus if you only read the manwha, it would leave you confused due to the weird structure. I kind of agree tbh, i feel like this is one of those things to advertise the novel and have people read that instead...WHICH SUCKS CUS THERE'S NO TRANSLATION AAHHHGGGG. Also the current arc we're at right now is one of the more confusing ones to go through in the novel tbh, i was hoping that the manwha would help clear up the MTL but as we can see..the plot is all fucked up and rearranged so i can't even rely on the manwha to clear shit up cus a lot of things have changed, it might as well be a different story

None everyone mentioning novel rn are suffering through MTL but the plot is just too good to drop the novel. It's better than the manwha.

For real!!! I would recommend reading the novel too first before reading the manhwa. Dude i was so confuse on why the gate guy (will bill) is so good to the mc, i though the mc help him to but nahhh mc just give will bill a pocket watch. I rack my brain to find out why tbh hahahah the mtl is actually readable, i just need to keep track of name instead of faces. It really explain a lot of what happen in the manhwa. Like why are they lock in the first few chapter. ( when reading that, I thought that was just the plot but another nahhh hahahaha)

Also back stories are in the novel, few glimpse for the mc but atleast there is.

Another frrrr! Its actually readable but some parts confuse me alot since it was not yet introduced to the manhwa
