well, he is the strongest myth/legend aside from Nezha. if you know Nezha, you'll probably know Nezha is a bit of a brat too. both of them are tied by something to control their "wicked power".
so yeah, in conclusion, you can say that sun wukong is a brat because sometimes he acts like a spoiled child.
chinese mythology is kinda confusing lol. its like a china version of greek gods.
