No that's not it. ITS THE LACK OF PLOT IN THIS ONE LIke how is this still interesting if nothing changes. Dan is still blind and has no respect and Jaekyung si still the same asshole from 50 chapters ago. That's what ruins this.

I dunno imo it has a pretty decent pacing. You can't expect a guy to just have a 180 personality change immediately just because he meets the love interest.. He has his priorities and I doubt he even sees Dan as anything more than someone to help his jinx out with for now. Maybe he does have feelings but is too dumb to realise it.. Who knows?

Plus I love that Dan is finally not that much of a pushover he was ages ago and is actually actively thinking about what he wants, even though what he wants is.. well.. Jaekyung.. but it's understandable. Jaekyung has helped him out when he was at his lowest and even though it might have seemed like it was nothing to Jaekyung, but for Dan I'm sure it was the biggest if not the only help he's received. So excuse the poor kid for catching feelings lol.

Imo all the assholeness and shit personality that we see now is just going to make the grovelling even better later on when we finally get it.
I love that we're not rushing into things and building it up slowly I dunno maybe I just like getting edged like so lol.

I actually think the pacing's off... Like why has it been so many chapters and nothing has happened. I was hoping Jaekyung was gonna take one of his redeeming opportunities, but he failed every time. Like seeing Dan cry, almost get raped, be worried about his grandmother, live in shit conditions all while trying to keep it together is like too much for me.

Futhermore we don't actually get to see why Jaekyung is holding on to Dan. As he said in the beginning he has had a taste of everything and as far as Jaekyung knows, Dan is no different than all his other fuck buddies. Except maybe for his absolute abstinence of self respect. BUT EVEN THEN wouldn't that be something you're not excited for to read. It's like the author loses opportunities and seems to have forgotten what the story is about.

There's no emotional deepening in any of the characters. In the beginning since Dan wasn't enjoying the sex, I thought she would use that, but that was magically resolved in 2 chapters while nothing was different. It just leaves the reader unsatisfied for answers.

But I guess there are people that enjoy the story so oops. To me it just loses its psychological thinking and realism I guess.

well tbf it's only been 42 chapters.. Personally I wouldn't call it a lot.. but maybe that's just me..? Knowing mingwa, I'm sure she's going to take us for a wild ride and I'm here for it lol,

Yeah I've already done that like 10 chapters ago, but then I'd thought to just read from here to see if anything had changed, but I guess not. haha. I'm really reading this for the plot, cause the sex scenes aren't even doing it for me. I think it's because of the dynamic or something I don't know. So that also explains why this manga wouldn't really do it for me :(((

awww no I get it.. I have some icks when it comes to certain dynamics as well.. It's sad because the art is really pretty.. maybe you could come back after it's completed hehe.. that way you can be a little more at peace with it I think..
