Killain has a certain way with words that just doesn’t help in these type of situations and Daisy she has things she “must” hide which doesn’t help in these types of situations so they are just fucked. Also Killain’s social understanding is not the best cause what use did he have for that before Daisy yk.
Is that her reason then? It might be because of poor translation but when she started taking the birth control, she never really explained why. Of course it makes sense why she would choose to take birth control. I think what confused me the most was that she felt she had to keep it hidden

Yeah i get why she'd take it, taking the birth control is actually a very responsible thing to do. Its just annoying that the author has written it to set up the characters to have an argument later. And also lengthening the story.
straightforward communication would just make this whole thing a non-issue.
"hey are you on birth control"
"yes, because after our contract ends, i didn't want to become a single mother"
"i actually love you, please do not divorce me after this contract ends"
"wow, i love you too so lets change the contract"
