LITERALLY. Everyone talking about the realism but nobody talking about Soma actually being a red flag jerk? He literally was so mean the first time they spoke then he constantly puts wataru down not only in front of others but directly to him. He’s embarrassed of him! He does not like wataru. He’s using him to help his self esteem and as a rebound. He could not be MORE of a red flag douche bag. He’s acting like the misogynistic narcissist trope of like every girl I’ve ever met. He’s truly a shitty person. That doesn’t mean shitty people can’t change, but he has been awful and it takes a lot of work (and time apart) to actually change. And some people never will

Personally I believe there will be more. I don't think this is the end. I believe we will get more. I fucking hope atleast. I was rooting wataru to get out of Soma shit so much and I hope he does if the story continues. It's not like I believe Soma doesn't love wataru but its more like they are not on same mental state. Wataru is ready for new love but that bish Soma is still stuck. If Soma had some decency then he would have gave himself some time and space for wataru.
