I think he is still alive, he was there when xuanxiao asked qiyu to marry, and never been shown after.. but since there's no mourning scene I just think that he is still alive, same with Hong lian too
Yes, he is alive. I say it wouldn't have made a difference if he had died because he wasn't present in the story.
And here I thought they'd raise a good son. Like literally how Hong Lian still hasn't ripped him a new one. and WHERE THE HECK SHEN YU???
