The harem part made me think something else and it disgusted me. You probably didn’t mean that though, I just think of wives/concubines/servant type of shit when someone says form a harem.
Nobody in Egyptian mythology is blameless. Osiris is the worst for sure, then foreign god (not a ranking). Horus, Anubis, and some others like Khnum maybe are some of the lesser evils. Set murdered innocents, he attempted rape on Horus, assaulted Horus, although that backfired on him.

Yeah. And it's a dark story, so I think everything that's happening is still within what's introduced. Personally I'll just read till the end if our MC and other characters got what they deserve, or if they got lesser or more punishment.
While I do agree that Seth's motives aren't bad, it's what he did that matters. So yeah, it is what it is.
