There’s hints Zhan loves Jian Yi (like
when he drew them under an umbrella together which is a romantic symbol). It’s just the progress seems to have slowed ever since the sleepover. And I don’t recall Zhan giving Jian Yi a clear response to his confession nor have they shared a consensual kiss (not counting the forehead one).
Also I hate to say it but this feels like karma. I remember way back in the day people said He Tian and Mo barely had progress, hate each other, how they won’t progress until the future adult arc, etc. Yet now they ended up surpassing Jian Yi and Zhan. There’s a lesson to be learned somewhere here.
Tbh i started it cuz zhan and yi plot was more interesting i do like little mo a he tian but i really wanted to progress them as 2nd priority
