He at most seems slightly emotionally stunted and very busy. Not a bad person at all, just not the greatest dad. The hate isn't warranted.
I’m just saying this because I seen really toxic and this story isn’t really that toxic it just lack a lot of communication. He actually cares for his daughter but he has to deal with the emperor and the black market that was poisoning his daughter. Which makes him neglectful but he has tried the mom/nanny option and buys her everything which is stupid. I’m yapping but I feel like everyone is overreacting with him
I 100% agree with you! He doesn’t seem annoying at all he just lacks communication and clearly if he’s acting like this he wasn’t raised right. At least he’s not doing like….super super bad things. At least not intentionally. Idk I just can’t hate him or feel annoyed by him. /lh
The duke hate in the comments is so funny to me. I can see why people don’t like him but the way everyone is so upset and hates his guts. Like damn maybe other stories I read where the guy was more cuckoo makes the Duke look tame
