i want to believe that eclis has a reason why he did that, he probably thought penelope will be happier if she will het out of the mansion bc the real daughter is back buttyt thinking how penelope must be feeling rn makes mee so sad, she’s definitely feel betrayed.

he probably thought it was a needed sacrifice, to have penelope thrown away from the family means she has nobody to rely on, nobody but him.. "for her to feel sad a little thats okay, the family made her suffer way more than i did anyways" thats what i think his reasoning is. he's "saving" her. selling off his friends is also bc if he's involved with bad ppl it reflects bad on penelope's reputation and could get her killed as punishment, thats too far.

I fell like all the 'love interests' have a trope to them, and it seems like Eclis is a Yandere. Yanderes want there love interest so much they are willing to throw away everything and destroy anyone typically. Some see what they are doing as wrong but don't care, others see themselves as right with how obsessed they are.

that makes sense! since it was a dating game, there is the yandere, the arrogant, the cold or distant at first, tsundere etc... its sad how eclis choose to destroy penelope instead of the family, but seeing the big picture, penelope's probably the only thing he had any type of influence over
