mfs can read whatever toxic stuff they want, what they not gonna do is pretend like their relationship is good and that the story was good when it went to sh!t after glossing over the abuse like nothing happened! even for a "toxic story" it's pretty terrible

leewon forgiving him so easily was questionable, I agree but no one enjoying this story is pretending that their relationship is 'good', most readers like this while admitting that caesar is a terrible bastard who if he was real should have been publicly executed for the shit he has done. their dynamic is fucked up and unhinged but they do it so well that it's interesting to read and the art is also top tier. terrible or not also kinda depends on the readers taste, not liking it is extremely valid but acting morally superior to those who do like it while not condoning the characters actions is weird. meanwhile i see berserk fans saying the constant rape of female characters and the sexualization of it has some sorta deep significance or something.

yes ppl can like whatever they want its how they react to it that can be the problem. personally the issue I had is that the author masquerades this as a romance and nothing came out of the r@pey subplot, what was the point of it then? I understand why ppl like it but theres definitely valid reasons why ppl trashed it after that subplot. also yes those berserk fans are hella weird
