Yes, that and I think he felt like shxt because he did t have the will to resist him when MC kept telling him to F him already. He felt like he ruined it so by taking some time away, he’d have the time to figure something out because once the tattoo’s over, presumably so is the relationship

I think the ML postponed the tattooing because he needed more time to work on a relationship with MC and knew the door would close when the tattoo was done.
