Yep he’s a joke. Any character I hate I literally call them Ian 2.0 as a derogatory term. He’s unlikable. Even if they put Jo and Ian scenes I’d feel annoyed since it feels like he’s simply using him as a second option. I don’t know what the author was thinking with this? They should’ve just made this a two way couple instead of teasing a love triangle. I hope Jo has the dignity to leave and not chase his toxic ass. He needs to realise he’s being used. I wish nothing but the worst for Ian.
