I’m not saying one is better or worse than the other tho, I’m just saying it’s illogical to want a dark romance (like roses and champagne) or a story where the character works or deals with immoral things to be a green flag. Basically I was simply agreeing with the main comment and also mentioning ppl who complain about red flag characters who are supposed to be “bad ppl” (and they usually don’t care that he’s a killer but care if he’s toxic which makes no sense)
Makes sense what you're saying.
Idk, I found it more disgusting what Ceasar did. I couldn't bring myself to continue it, honestly.
I tend to like dark romances but ones where they're not necessarily toxic to each other like A Pawn's Revenge and Under the Greenlight.
But I do have a hand ful that have plenty of agnst are written so well that I can't help but like the red flag, and this is one of them. Haha
Dark romance involves toxic relationships, under the greenlight isn’t dark romance, the plot line might be dark but it still isn’t dark romance. I’ve never read a pawns revenge so I don’t know if it’s the same. And don’t get me wrong, rape should never be accepted but it’s the same for killing. Some ppl really show double standards when they can accept a full blown serial killer but the moment he hurts the MC he suddenly becomes a bad person as if he wasn’t before.. like it makes no sense

idk why y’all hate the male lead, he’s not even the worst red flag there is lmao tf u know a shady loan shark who’s so kind and good and a total green flag to a stranger he barely knows? i bet not. lol just saying the male lead’s tolerable, i even like his character and personality. leave if u guys dont, why make ur life hard.
