Oooohhh
And was this also the reason why they were so helpful to Eris?
Because it allowed them to
- get "rid" of the key figures of the "prev world" / "orig story" (cp, dragon slayer, and corrupt priest)->trinity of male leads that's inadvertently leading the world to ita doom
- allowed two key women to move "outside the system" / against the "orig story"-> now, there's a trinity of women shaping the "new world" / "new story" (the witch (power), helena (society), and the girl (writer) )

My take:
From her experiences with Eris, she realized she doesn't have to nor should she continue to subject herself to the whims of royalty / people in power
(She wasn't truly in love w/CP nor held true aftection for the other ml's, she was kind and affectionate to them only for her survival 'coz she was a powerless commoner stuck in the palace)
Also, I like to think she knows that none of the three are worth the "true love" or affection and that they're actually quite shits.
Since she's in a position of power, she doesn't have to pretend she likes them anymore
Don't get me wrong, I love the ending. I'm just unsure about a few things
- is the cp's retribution is that the "geniune" affection that he sought for by doing all that shit, forever out of his reach?
- is helena's conclusion becoming a proper empress (who'll hopefully address the twisted system the ex-royals proliferated)
- why and how is the kid to be god? Why must the god be replaced?
