Yeah, same. I do get why many elderlies tend to have a conservative worldview but dang sometimes it just really gets tiresome.
It really is, as they still stuck in the 70s or some shite like that. But yes it's just very tiresome to deal with the elderlies always saying to the queer person as get married with the opposite sex and have children as it be just forcing the queer person that the queer person does not want lol
Yeah, the ones I especially dislike are those who refuse to understand even when you already explained things to them. Also, it's so tedious when queer ppl are often pressured to explain why we don't want to participate in heteronormative things. Like just leave us alone please!!! Live your happy life the way you want it and we will live out happy lives the way we want it.
Big exactly to this right there 1000%!!! Those kind of people will never understand what queer ppl went through and the annoying ones who push heteronormative things onto queer ppl are the worst kind of ppl you'll see there!!

As someone who's living in a province, I've been told this many times and I die inside everytime an old folk says this to me. I'm glad the love interest didn't hear what they said.
