In today's animanga social climate, tho, these types of people would consider childhood friends to be incest. I've seen them complain about how other cultures refer to people who they are close with just 'cause they view just about any sort of longterm, super close relationship as incest.
The kicker to me is that these people will read long-winded series with 50+ chapters and read every single update just to bitch about the same thing they've been "icked" by since chapter 1 lol I drop series for just being boring. I couldn't imagine sticking around for more than 10 chapters of a series I apparently hate or am grossed out by.
