Both Anan & her partner Bluepool meet a tragic fate

Yea and some of her children…some of those descriptions in the novel were just unsettling. In fact Anan’s entire story is just unsettling. I’m kind of hoping they’ll change it for the comic (￣∇￣")

Dang, that's tragic.

I haven't read the novel, but with so many spoilers that are so sad, that it made me not want to read the novel myself, with full details. It's already shocking Σ( ￣□￣||)

Does the FL & ML even know what had become of their kids? It's like they don't care anymore, after leaving them all behind

The only children they know what happens to them are the ones that end up on Earth, so not Anan or the snake children. I really like where it ended for Muir’s son and his story is great, so it’s not all sad. Also, there’s lots of happy moments with the other peeps and she finally gets reunited with her original family and there’s some funny moments of her husbands trying to sneak in her bedroom, since she’s at her family’s house, because almost no time passed when she disappeared on Earth. Im only following along to see how they draw out some of the end sections. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

I didn't read the novel myself, but only saw spoiler bits of the novel, so it might not be accurate, and don't know all the details but as far I can remember:

Bluepool got beheaded by the mermaid's leader in a battle. Anan was the reason of their fight. Anan was very sad and depressed that she too lost her life. I don't know how she died.

Bluepool was killed by silver, one of anan and bluepools kids. Silver was in love with anan. All there kids were named colors because she had thousands of them. Eventually anan has a gives birth to a girl, she breast feeds it and when she weens it she commits suicide to be with bluepool. BP turns into a black crystal and anan turns into a white crystal and they are next to each other in a mermaid graveyard. because anan is human she is only able to come out of the crystal at night to be with BP but when she is in crystal form she no longer is affected by the poison and is able to speak and express everything to BP.
Silver raises anans daughter to adulthood but never mates with her (forgot her name). He eventually dies of a broken heart in the mermaid graveyard.

I forgot about the crystal spirit meeting stuff. I just kept thinking about how Anan tried to eat her kids because she compared herself to a fruit tree, so why can’t she eat her “fruit” and also the novel described them looking like colorful gummy candy.
