i find this pretty HILARIOUS.
i much prefer fan translations that actually keep me up to date with the story instead of 5+ chapters behind, on top of the fact that they actually put effort into what they post as opposed to people who directly STEAL the authors paid to acquire work, then upload it as is.
yes, both upload forms are frowned upon, but at least with one there's a level of "buy the officials if you want the perfected work" and not "here's the perfected work, but oh yea still support the author i guess".

I find fan translations fine but i hate MTL because the dialogue is very inaccurate if you look back and forth between the officials and fan translations you’ll see a massive difference (-:
Putting in effort is buying the raws, properly cleaning , translating, and typesetting it.
Not stealing the raws from an illegal site and using Machine to translate it.
Also, are you really keeping up to date with a story when half the dialogue is wrong?
