also yes, ao was in the wrong. i dont hate him for it but his first thought was to blame asuka for being violent (in response to violence as well mind you) instead of thinking those gang members were horrible for even thinking of kidnapping or raping his sisters instead. WILD to think about tbh. it's like a different variation of victim blaming! it's okay that he felt scared but literally blaming it on asuka but not the actual perpetrators is CRAAAZY.
