No, Maso is saying Carcel doesn’t use his brain much because his job doesn’t require it. On the other hand, Carcel does call himself stupid and Ines does call him stupid at times but in all actuality, Carcel isn’t actually dumb. He’s remarkably wise and knows how to take care of Ines and his family including his parents, brother and servants. That’s the amusing thing about this because what the manhwa doesn’t bring across well is that Ines does follow Carcel’s decisions in their marriage surprisingly a lot.
