no it’s literally just like a drug for them. like they don’t even need it to like stay alive or something. they’re perfectly healthy without it
It’s just for fun, even in the wild dolphins are horrible animals and smack around pufferfish to get high, I guess the creator wanted to make a bl out of it. It’s so sad tho
