Rape and SA are not talked about as much in Asian countries, especially when it happens between couples. Some of them are taught to keep quiet about it. Doesn't mean it isn't rape and we shouldn't point that out. Koreans are just less sensitive about it because they're subconsciously taught to act that way. And as a Chinese, whenever I read something that contains rape, the comment section calls it hot and stuff(unless it's really severe). Sometimes there'll be people standing up for the victim but they're always told to shut up and just enjoy the story lol just like y'all. Call us woke but rape is still unacceptable and unjustifiable.
Preach! I wanted to say something about this but couldn’t find the words, they sucked the life out of me mentally. A lot of Asians do not speak of rape or SA as much as westerners openly do. We tend to be very conservative and I get embarrassed when I talk about stuff like that in front of my parents/family in general but when I’m around my western friends or other Asian friends who are open minded, I talk like I can’t stop.
That’s why I’m saying just because Koreans know the language and didn’t say much about the SA/Rape doesn’t mean they are right. It’s dumb logic.
