The current MC is the original owner of that body but somehow her soul went to South Korea and in place was the original South Korean in the MC's body. It's a similar concept of many novels where this world was always meant to be the MC's original world. Also, similarly, if the souls are in different places, those around them would subconsciously know they aren't who they supposed to be so they are treated differently, and in this case, the fake owner of the body actually hated those around her because she didn't like anything at all about where she was born.
I’m making things up. By maybe the previous soul hated that she was pushed into a role of a ‘mother’ when she ain’t a mother nor the woman the husband love.
