Because I loved BJ Alex and I'm hoping Jinx will get better eventually, but I'm losing hope with every new chapter.
If in the end it doesn't get better and Jaekyung doesn't get an actual good redemption arc (honestly... it needs to be reaaally good to work with him because he is trash) I'll just be here to see the dumpster fire ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Again I love BJ Alex, I love Mingwa's art... But I don't think the writing and character development is handled well in this mahwa. This is just my opinion of course
If you love BJ Alex and know she is following the same patterns, why are you losing hope? If she follows the same patterns it will get better as BJ Alex did.
Because it's been so much longer and Jaekyung is way trashier than Jiwon, and Dan is way more spineless than DG. It doesn't mean it will be exactly the same, and actually the fact that it's following the same patterns makes the writing not very good imo, it's like recycling the same plot... but with worse characters.

You should read BJ Alex again. Look at chapter 44. Jaekyung and Dan isn’t as you said. It is not the same. But it is following the same patterns roughly at the same rate.

Mingwa is using all the same tropes that were used in BJ Alex only that so far these is zero character development and I dislike both of them
