Oh you got that right. You just put into words how I would describe the heavy angsty atmosphere of this series in contrast to the more obvious ones done by your usual romance manga. It kinda reminds me how the series Given executes its angst. But much more subtle and quiet.
It's always like this with Nagisa-sensei's works. They're so amazing with portraying silent angst
