He's an impostor sent by the young lady who liked Baron Wilford's cousin, the one who confronted Iris about Baron Wilford. She sent him to make the couple separate (and a form of revenge, I think)

That's actually such a far-stretched relation, dang, a bit boring too. I would've preferred if it was an acquaintance of Fred who got a hint that Fred got some treasures last time and died en route home. So that Ashley would inherit if the treasure is found, ya know... I guess I let my imagination go wild.
