If not naming the child is a part of neglect then sure. The kids not old enough to have a name impact her. Besides, isn't he refraining from naming her because he wants to properly think about it?

There are people irl who go a while without naming their infant to find the right name that fits. Its not weird or in anyway abuse

Keep in mind he got her at 3 months and would have been struggling with having a child with literally no preparation to even think about the naming issue. Not to mention settling into a new place with no job.
just name the poor child. i love this story and everything but at this point its child abuse to go without naming a child this long. they're no better than bio-mom
