i think in the novel they imply that hestia still doesn't see herself as part of that world and for her everything is part of the story she is now re-writing to save her favorite, she also died so i think she doesn't contemplate a future for herself at all which is ironic when you see how hard she tries to change kael's future, and kael is just bad with words lol
I think her fanatic mind mistook her role in that world. She just needs to stop Kael's death but since she's a fan, she wants to avenge her idol's death. Kael doesn't know he killed himself in Hestia's house because of those two traitors so he doesn't really get why a revenge is still necessary when he's now in good health. He only thinks Hestia's doing it for him cuz she "loves" him but doesn't really know what's driving Hestia to make it her sole purpose in that life all while he thinks they're both in love with each other now so why not focus in their relationship? Hestia also doesn't know about Kael's feelings for her too so she doesn't understand Kael's gestures and doesn't understand he only wants to focus on her now that he moved on and loves his wife. There's a great miscommunication here so I'd rather let them to tackle that first than be lovey dovey and snu snu without proper understanding of their current goals and situations. Also if Hestia snu snu with Kael now without knowing Kael's feelings, it's just like a fan receiving an ultimate fan service from her idol.
