It bothers me to no end, what's going here, it's so twisted but it never gets there.
I imagine the planning session went: "Okay, I want to do a story about the debilitating, emotionally retarding effect of dependence, loneliness and fear of loss in one character, and the brutalising effect of unrequited love, jealousy and frustration in another character, which also involves the taboo of being blood relations. Awww, but I also wanna do a cute funny manga... Oh, fuck it, why not both!!"
it's mainly in the point of view of someone whom is naive about this stuff even though he is victimized a lot so he sees it as normal bullying or from the point of view of the twisted love person who sees their love as pure. If seen from the outside it might be different but from those two it's cute.

This had so much potential, it could be a really dark and interesting story and instead it just tries to be cute all the time, it doesn't work.
