We might get a backstory for Jaekyung who knows? But when you're a fighter like Jaekyung it's normal for your feelings to be super negative and for you to have anger issues so maybe him being a dickward is in his nature
yeah i guess it's part of the intended dynamics between the both of them (kind pushover x always in a bad mood aggressive fighter) from the get go but wow authornim never makes it easy to like the seme in their stories. there's very little redeeming factors of jaekyung too so the bg story will have a lot of explaining to do.
it's kinda funny how even his softer side is still dickwad-y but oh well baby steps (idk if this counts since he's not even sober) i truly hope dan can get his happy ever after whatever that looks like
