We've already gotten past the main conflicts of the story so this house-moving stuff coming in out of nowhere is just so annoying to me. It feels unnecessary, like the author's trying to stretch the story out more for no reason. I've seen people say it's cute to see them "being domestic" but . . . They're not? There's nothing domestic about this, it's conflict.
If this was actually them being all domestic and cute, I'd love it. Maybe instead of Lyle looking for his own house, maybe the two of them could look for a house to move into together to kickstart their new life together or something idk but I haaate that Lyle is looking for his own house and NOW feels like he's being treated as nothing more than a guest. It's so annoying
