I agree!!! Omg I hate him so much. 1. His friends encouraging him to break them up and him AGREEING?? Oooh made me angry. But also 2. He literally said deaf people should be hidden and that he can’t understand why she’s “going to college” he just infantilizes her and treats her like she can’t do anything when she’s so capable. 3. I hate him so much I hate it when 2ML can’t respect the ML n FLs relationship it’s so annoying like even if they did break up she’d never go for you. I also HATE the “omg my childhood friend also likes me” trope bc the childhood friend is always perfectly fine with never making a move or saying smth. They ONLY make a move when they realize the girl they like has a crush/boyfriend. It’s so annoying bc it’s like instead of actually seeing the FLs like a love interest they see them as an object to own and they get prissy when the object ends up falling for someone that isn’t them. I could go on a whole rant tbh

The only second male lead I like is from Inso’s Law, the black haired guy. I literally dropped that story ever since I found out he’s not the male lead. Idc what anyone says ab the white haired guy, I will never like him for the female lead. I got PTSD from that, so from then on I always made sure I spoiled myself ab the male lead so I wouldn’t deal with that feeling again. That ultimately led to my strong disdain for second male leads and reverse harem in general…

Authors really need to get over the silly, useless love triangle trope. It’s annoying, especially when the main couple is already happy. They should come up with something else… Or not have it at all. It also pisses me off when the second male lead can never get over the female lead and is still longing for her at the end of the story. I prefer when they find someone else to love. There’s more fish in the sea. This is something Oushi needs to realize. I don’t care if he wants a “specific” fish (Yuki.)

I only don’t mind the love triangle trope when the female lead is strong in her convictions and feelings for the male lead and completely rejects the second male lead. It’s just so satisfying. For example, Hestia from My Abandoned Love.
