Bruh, idk what some of the bl readers now a days wants.

When the mc is pathetic stupid bitch, they want him to be more smart, cunning, to fight for themselves, to hold their ground, to use their available resources, to use their brain.
But when the mc is actually using his brain, is manipulative, is cunning, is using their pretty privilege (whatever you call that), is using the available resources that they can use these readers are still devaluing them as a mare victim that can't do anything about their situation just because mc felt certain emotions or cuz their methods are not like the other typical methods that they don't have to sacrifice a piece of themselves. It is as if they are forgetting the mcs effort or their characterization. They always criticized the tropes of the story, to be fair I understand but please give some appreciation about the other aspects of the story, like how complex the character is, the plot progression, the events.
