You aren't wrong! And to note, we pretty much get told in some of the other works that they're intended to be a side couple. Hugo and Theo are displayed right next to other confirmed couples in one of the works ft. them that isn't this one. It's not a crazy assumption to get to. And before some nay-sayer comes on here talking; of course they don't feel as developed as other couples yet - they don't even have their own story (whether this be their own spin-off or told in this story). People will do everything but wait to judge side characters before the work has gotten the chance to develop anyone but the main characters.

i reed that people don't like theo, why is it? i love the ship TheoxHugo it's cute and different(alpha x beta), i feel bad for Shaia but he just met his mate soo...everyone happy. tbh I really was hopping a manga of Theo and Hugo but anyway i like this saga
